Green Burials and Human Composting

Baby Boomers have always had an outsized influence on society. Born from 1946 to 1964, they currently range in age from 61-80. A little research reveals that Baby Boomers: (1) are the wealthiest generation, owning more than half of all household wealth; (2) own approximately 40% of US real estate; (3) were the impetus behind the civil rights movement, anti-war activism and other notable political causes; and (4) have dominated American politics for decades, including steering political spending to themselves in the form of Social Security and Medicare.

And now they are turning to end-of-life care and death. So why wouldn’t they influence that too?
