Clients often bring their estate plan binder with them when coming in for their free annual review meeting. Some clients are surprised to learn of documents in the binder that they have never seen before. In fact, sometimes it’s clear the binder hasn’t been opened since the client first received their binder many years before. Not reviewing your binder every few years is a bad idea for two reasons.
